Getting Started

What is GePaid?+
GePaid is a digital payments platform that lets you buy airtime, data, pay electricity bills, subscribe to cable TV, purchase gift cards, and create virtual USD cards — all from one place.
Which countries does GePaid support?+
We currently support Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Cameroon. More countries are coming soon.
Is there a fee to create an account?+
No. Creating a GePaid account is completely free. You only pay when you make a transaction.
How do I get started?+
Register with your email, verify your account, fund your wallet, and start purchasing services instantly.

Wallet & Funding

How do I fund my GePaid wallet?+
Transfer money to our bank account and submit your payment proof on the 'Fund Wallet' page. Your wallet will be credited within 30 minutes after verification.
What is the minimum deposit?+
The minimum deposit is ₦100.
How long does wallet funding take?+
Manual deposits are typically verified and credited within 15–30 minutes during business hours (8am–10pm WAT).
Is my wallet balance safe?+
Yes. Your balance is held in a regulated escrow and is always available for withdrawal or spending.

Transactions

How fast are transactions processed?+
Most transactions complete within 60 seconds. Occasionally, network delays may extend this to 3–5 minutes.
What happens if a transaction fails?+
Failed transactions are automatically refunded to your wallet immediately. No manual intervention needed.
Can I cancel a pending transaction?+
Once submitted, transactions cannot be cancelled while processing. If it fails, you will be automatically refunded.
I bought airtime for the wrong number — can I get a refund?+
Unfortunately, delivered airtime cannot be reversed as it is fulfilled in real time. Please double-check the phone number before confirming.

Security

How is my data protected?+
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. We never store your payment card details.
What should I do if I suspect unauthorized access?+
Change your password immediately from the Profile page and contact support. We will investigate and freeze suspicious activity.
Does GePaid sell my personal data?+
Never. Your data is used only to operate your account and improve our services. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I contact support?+
You can reach us via the Support section in your dashboard (create a ticket), email at support@gepaid.name.ng, or WhatsApp.
What are your support hours?+
Our team is available Monday–Saturday, 8am–10pm WAT. Tickets submitted outside these hours are responded to the next business day.
How long does it take to get a response?+
Most tickets are resolved within 2–4 hours during business hours. Complex issues may take up to 24 hours.
